That’s why the Pediatric Dermatology team at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford is dedicated to providing the highest quality, nurturing care and education to help kids achieve healthy skin. Our pediatric dermatology program is recognized nationally for its cutting-edge treatment of rare genetic skin disorders, such as erythropoietic porphyria (EPP), ichthyosiform disorders, and epidermolysis bullosa (EB). Notably, a breakthrough gene therapy developed at Stanford and approved by the FDA is poised to significantly improve the quality of life for EB patients and their families.

Comprehensive services

We offer comprehensive services for evaluation and management of disorders in all pediatric age groups, including light-based laser therapy for common and complex skin conditions. Each child is unique and may require a unique combination of treatment methods; therefore, we provide a range of experienced physicians, surgeons and specialists who work together to address each child’s individual needs.
