Center for Professional Excellence & Inquiry

The Center for Professional Excellence and Inquiry (CPEI) is committed to the personal and professional growth and development of health care professionals.

We offer a variety of educational courses that supports a competent health care workforce to deliver and sustain improved patient outcomes, such as:

  •  - This learning camp is an introductory course about the basic principles of Health Literacy and the Teach-back method. Learners will have the opportunity to apply these principles to clinical situations in an interactive online class.
  • Life Support Education (BLS and PALS), Continuing Education, and Certification Courses
  •  - The NRP Program introduces the concepts and basic skills of neonatal resuscitation. It is designed for health care professionals involved in any aspect of neonatal resuscitation, including physicians, nurses, advanced practice nurses, nurse midwives, licensed midwives, respiratory care practitioners, and other health are professionals who provide direct care during neonatal resuscitation.
  • - We provide both Intermediate and Advanced courses that concentrate on fetal heart monitoring, serving as a knowledge assessment tool for experienced perinatal clinicians. These courses feature lectures, hands-on skill stations, case-based fetal monitoring interpretation, and encompass clinical interventions, communication, and risk management principles.
