My Approach

When I was growing up in Guam, people took care of each other. It was a small community where everybody knew everybody, so after school I would go to the clinic where my dad worked as a doctor. I would hang out with the doctors and nurses, listening to them talk about their day. It was so interesting; they inspired me to go into medicine, too. I love the hustle and bustle of health care, and I love taking care of people, especially children.

Kids are so positive and resilient. I take pride in being a part of a child's recovery and helping them get back to their typical activities and seeing them go on to live great lives. Now that I am a parent, I find great comfort in providers who take care of my child and consider the needs of my whole family. So, I want to provide the same to my patients and their families.
