My Approach

When I was young, I would accompany my parents to their medical appointments. Not only did it spark a love of medicine, but the compassionate care they experienced inspired me to do the same in my own practice. It taught me the importance of explaining things in an approachable way that is not too complicated but still carries the right message to the family.

It's very fulfilling to be able to take part in a child's development and watch them grow. Every patient I see is unique. One of the things I love about my job is learning about each family鈥攖heir perspective, culture, and goals鈥攁nd using that to personalize their experience. Whether it is nutrition, preventive care, or lactation support, providing adaptable care is very important to me.

Another thing I love about this job is that no matter how the day is going, you're almost guaranteed to get a smile! The best part of being a pediatrician is that working with children always gives you an opportunity to be joyful and playful. Those smiles make it all worth it.
