My Approach

I generally take care of kids with various types of disabling medical conditions. The way those conditions can impact each kid is pretty different, so I first try to figure out what’s going on with each kid and how their condition is interfering with the things they want to do on a daily basis. Then I can work with the family to recommend solutions, including medications, procedures, therapies, and working with groups like community programs and the child’s school.

I take an approach of looking at patients’ whole lives, not just one area, and help people figure out how to do things that matter to them. I really enjoy working with kids and parents that are often overlooked by the world at large and helping them find ways to thrive within that environment.

A lot of my approach is very focused on meeting people where they are and trying to help come up with creative solutions. There are lots of opportunities to figure out the best individualized treatment plan for each person.
