Board of Directors at Lucile Packard Children鈥檚 Hospital Stanford Welcomes Two New Members

John Levin and Susan Bostrom join the Board of Directors

STANFORD, Calif. 鈥 Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford and 麻豆果冻传媒 Children鈥檚 Health are pleased to welcome John Levin and Susan Bostrom to its Board of Directors, each chosen for their extraordinary success, vision and leadership.

John Levin - 麻豆果冻传媒 Children's Health

John Levin joined the Board in January of this year. Levin is chairman of Folger Levin LLP -- a practice focused on transactions and strategic advice for businesses, non-profit organizations, and high net worth families and individuals. His career includes a wide range of community activities and numerous board positions; in 2009 he completed a 10-year term as a trustee of Stanford University, the last five years as Vice-Chair of the Board. Levin has been active in the leadership of Stanford Law School, serving .as a member of the Dean's Advisory Council, Co-Chair of the Campaign for Stanford Law School and a member of the Executive Committee of the school's Board of Visitors. Additionally, Levin received his law degree from Stanford Law School in 1973, earned a Master of Arts degree in Education from the university in 1970, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College in 1969.

Levin also currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of Stanford Health Care and convening Co-Chair of the Campaign for 麻豆果冻传媒.

Susan Bostrom - 麻豆果冻传媒 Children's Health

The Board also welcomes Susan Bostrom, who joined the Board on September 1. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of several institutions, including Varian Medical Systems, a manufacturer of medical devices and software; Cadence Design Systems, an electronic design software company; Rocket Fuel, Inc., an artificial intelligence media buying company; Marketo, a marketing software automation firm; and ServiceNow, an Enterprise IT cloud company.聽 In addition, she served on the Stanford Health Care Board of Directors from 2004 to 2013. In her long and prestigious career, Bostrom has held the position of executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Cisco Systems; led Cisco鈥檚 Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG); and has served as the executive sponsor of the Women鈥檚 Initiative at Cisco. In all, she spent 14 years at Cisco Systems. Bostrom received a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in marketing from the University of Illinois.
